2016-17 Funding

We are happy to announce that the Alberta Legal Information Society (ALIS) is a recipient of a project grant from the Alberta Law Foundation (ALF) for a third consecutive year. The funding will allow us to consolidate our ongoing website development and complete the curation of family law content to help Albertans address their legal information needs.

During the past year, the ALIS team has worked with more than 50 organizations and individual stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved in the provision of legal information to Albertans to develop the website—Legalave.ca—to address family law.

We thank the Alberta Law Foundation’s board and management for their continuous support and guidance to ALIS and for including LegalAve.ca as a provincial collaborative initiative in its strategic priorities.

Read some of our blog posts to find out more about our project, key features of LegalAve.ca, and how we are collaborating with community organizations.

The Alberta Legal Information Society is a non-profit organization that was established in 2012 to build a website that serves as Albertans’ first point of access to existing legal information and services in the province.
